We both successfully completed the Coastal Skipper theory course with 2nd Meridian. We enjoyed the challenge of building on our Day Skipper qualifications. The course was well structured and clearly delivered, at a pace to suit the participants. There was a mix of theory and practical exercises in each session and homework to consolidate understanding. We particularly enjoyed the chartwork. It was really interesting, well worth doing and good fun doing it in a group.  

2nd Meridian’s methodical syllabus planning enabled a very efficient structure to the lessons, we found the summary diagrams A4 sheets particularly helpful The visual presentations were very helpful too with a variation of photographs and diagrams to help memory absorption, and of course the ‘rules of the road’ lights .

Chris and I also attended 2nd Meridian ‘s VHF radio training course . Absolutely spot on. Well organised , well structured and good opportunity to use the radio facility .  So much learnt in a short space of time. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough.
